Assassin's Creed Introduces Bizarre AoT Event for Holiday Season
In a surprising partnership that defies usual predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Questline Revealed
According to the official announcement, "An unusual confrontation leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where rumors of forbidden rituals and monstrous metamorphoses reverberate through the darkness." The narrative features a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a secret cult.
The adventure centers on "peculiar trials and a monstrous enemy" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Changes
The teaser highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser ends with a striking sequence showing a character, likely the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Items and Additional Features
Players who accomplish the quest will obtain an special katana in addition to multiple items secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
- Titan-inspired outfit for Yasuke
- Mikasa outfit for Naoe

Third Free Story Addition
